Celebrate 125 Years of Conservation at The Rocks
Join us at The Rocks, the Forest Society's northern flagship, for our 2026 Annual Meeting and a special conversation about the future of New Hampshire's forests.
As we celebrate 125 years of conservation, we're looking ahead to the next chapter of our work: building resilient forests that can adapt and endure in a changing climate while continuing to support wildlife, clean water, forest products, recreation, and healthy communities.
We're honored to welcome Dr. Tony D'Amato, Professor of Forestry and Director of the Forestry Program at the University of Vermont. A nationally recognized expert in forest ecology, ecological forestry, and forest adaptation, D'Amato's research focuses on helping forests meet the challenges of a changing world while sustaining the many benefits they provide.
Drawing from his new book, Tending Your Forest, D'Amato will explore how science-based stewardship can help forests remain healthy, productive, and resilient for generations to come.
This special anniversary gathering, open to all, offers members and supporters an opportunity to connect with fellow conservationists, celebrate our shared accomplishments, and explore the vision that will guide the Forest Society into its next 125 years. Stay tuned for more details as we continue planning a day of guided hikes and anniversary celebrations at The Rocks.
