Franconia Notch Over Time
(Easy/Moderate) Join Dave Anderson and Dave Govatski to trace forest and cultural history in the Notch, including the Merrimack Headwaters and old growth forest.

Explore The Flume, Lincoln
(Strenuous) Did you know the Forest Society owned and operated The Flume from 1928-1948 before adding it to the White Mountain National Forest? Explore the natural communities along the gorge’s 2-mile loop trail with Carrie Deegan and Emily Bartolini.

John Wingate Weeks Historic Site – Weeks State Park, Lancaster
(Easy/Moderate) Enjoy fabulous 360 degree views from Prospect Mountain and visit the home of the namesake of the Weeks Act of 1911 that formed the White Mountain National Forest. Participants can choose whether to walk the trails or just enjoy the views and museum. Leah Hart.
