Franconia Notch Over Time (9-11:30 am). *This trip is full.
(Easy/Moderate) Join Dave Anderson and Dave Govatski to trace forest and cultural history in the Notch, including the Merrimack Headwaters and old growth forest.
Trip#2
Explore The Flume, Lincoln (9:00-11:00 am). *This trip is full.
(Strenuous) Did you know the Forest Society owned and operated The Flume from 1928-1948 before it became a State Park? Explore the natural communities along the gorge’s 2-mile loop trail with Carrie Deegan and Emily Bartolini.

John Wingate Weeks Historic Site – Weeks State Park, Lancaster (9:00-11:00 am.) Space for 25 people.
(Easy/Moderate) Enjoy fabulous 360 degree views from Prospect Mountain and visit the home of the namesake of the Weeks Act of 1911 that formed the White Mountain National Forest. Participants can choose whether to walk the trails or just enjoy the views and museum. Leah Hart.

Traveling through History at The Rocks, Bethlehem (9:30 am & 10:15 am) Space for 12 people each. *These rides are now full
(Easy) Join Nigel Manley and Adam Buxbaum for horse drawn wagon rides through the fields at The Rocks while learning about natural and cultural history of the site.

Sustainable Energy Tour of the Carriage Barn at The Rocks, Bethlehem (10:00-11:00am) Space for 20 people.
(Easy) Join an interpretive tour of the solar and geothermal systems that are advancing our goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
