Forest Society President Jack Savage

We’re excited to share that three leaders from the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests were named to the 2025 New Hampshire 200 list by NH Business Review earlier this month — President Jack Savage and Board of Trustees members William Tucker and Jason Hicks.

The New Hampshire 200 recognizes the state’s most influential business leaders across major industries. It’s a testament to the Forest Society’s growing impact in land conservation, climate action, and community engagement that our leadership is so well represented on this year’s list.

Jack Savage has served as president since 2019, guiding the organization through major initiatives including the defeat of the Northern Pass transmission line and the expansion of education, volunteer, and climate-focused programs. William Tucker and Jason Hicks bring a wealth of expertise and commitment to their roles on our Board, helping shape strategy and steward our mission across New Hampshire.

“We’re proud to see Jack, William, and Jason recognized for their leadership,” says Drew Kellner, chair of the Forest Society’s Board of Trustees. “This honor reflects the strength of our entire team — staff, board, volunteers, and members — working together to protect the forests, waters, and wildlife of the Granite State.”

Congratulations to all of this year’s NH 200 honorees who are making a positive impact in communities across the state.
