Jeremy Lougee
Vice President of Land Conservation
Jeremy serves as the Vice President for Land Conservation, overseeing the Land Protection and Easement Stewardship Departments. Prior to joining the Forest Society in 2026, his professional career spans a variety of conservation organizations, including the U.S. Forest Service, Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Southeast Land Trust of NH, and most recently the Land Trust Alliance. Jeremy has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire, where he authored a publication entitled “Sustaining Agriculture in the Granite State: A Citizen’s Guide to Restoring our Local Foods, Farms and Independence”. In 2023, he helped to conserve his family’s 132-acre farm in New Hampton which continues to sell a variety of dairy products across the state. Jeremy lives in Portsmouth with his wife and two children and enjoys outdoor activities of all kinds.
