Emory Baldwin
Emory Baldwin is a Licensed Architect with over 30 years of experience, with a primary focus on mass timber and timber-frame buildings. Emory is the Co-Founder & Director of Design for North Woods Mass Timber, a new manufacturing venture that will utilize wood from New England trees to create sustainable large-format engineered wood structural components that will be used for creating large carbon neutral buildings. Prior to NWMT, Emory founded and ran an architectural firm called FabCab which designed and provided wood structural components for pre-fabricated, energy-efficient, and inclusive / accessible homes and accessory dwelling units.
Emory also has a personal connection to the forestry community in New England, as his grandfather was the state forester for New Hampshire in the 1950s through the 1970s. His grandfather instilled in him a love and respect for the forest.
