U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen visited the Rocks on October 10. Accompanied by Forest Society Trustees Phil Bryce and Nancy Martland and Forest Society President Jack Savage and Policy Director Matt Leahy, Senator Shaheen saw first-hand the progress of the multi-year campaign to rebuild and re-envision the campus at The Rocks. Included on her tour was a walk through of the historic Carriage Barn to check on its transformation into an energy-efficient facility.
The Rocks' trails, fields, and parking lots are now open to the public. The Forest Society's Christmas tree farm at The Rocks opens November 18 for cut-your-own and fresh-cut trees.
