The Les Clark Nature Trail behind our Conservation Center in Concord is open again! After several weeks of upgrades, the quarter-mile path now meets federal accessibility standards with a smoother surface, new benches overlooking Mill Brook and the Merrimack River, and a small turnaround near the river kiosk. These improvements make the trail welcoming to more visitors—including those using wheelchairs, mobility aids, or strollers—while keeping the route and scenic feel the same. We’re grateful for support from the NH Recreation Trails Program, Davis Conservation Foundation, Athletic Brewing Company’s Two for the Trails grant program, and our Floodplain sponsors at Merrimack County Savings Bank and Northeast Delta Dental, who helped make this project possible. Enjoy your next visit!
