Demonstration Forestry Tour, Mount Monadnock

Visit a forest demonstration area located around a very popular hiking trail on Mt Monadnock that has experienced several decades of continuous careful forest management to improve the residual stand of timber and recruit the next age class of forest.  Learn about past, present and future management and how forestry prescriptions have changed the forest while adding value: improving the forest health, resiliency, and timber value.
