Forest Advocate: Help Shape the State's Climate Action Plan Priorities

Matt Leahy | February 5, 2024

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), in partnership with New Hampshire Listens, has undertaken the effort to update New Hampshire’s 2009 State Climate Action Plan. As part of the project, it is holding a series of community meetings throughout the state to create a conversation about key priorities for reducing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in local neighborhoods.

The working group noted: "We want to hear about local and regional projects that will benefit the Greater Capitol Region and address the barriers to implementing those projects. All ideas are welcome — from workforce development to cost-sharing programs and coalitions to implement solutions."

The Greater Concord area meeting will take place at the Forest Society on Monday, February 12 from 5 PM- 6:30 PM.
